The new 2014 Cadillac CTS

Cadillac has announced that the new 2014 Cadillac CTS comes with a twin-turbo V6 engine of 3.6 liters.

The highest power density for six cylinders in the segment of mid-size luxury. The V6 engine is based on the new companys current 3.6-liter, but it has been equipped with reinforced connecting rods, aluminum pistons with dome and colder air cargo system with integrated air ducts low volume.

2014 CTS is also direct injection, vacuum operated wastegates twin turbo chargers that deliver more than 12 pounds of thrust.

With all these changes, and a new eight-speed automatic transmission, the engine will enable the 2014 Cadillac CTS accelerate from 0-100 kph in approximately 4.6 seconds and will allow them to reach a top speed of about 274 km / h.

If you feel great machine, the 2014 CTS will also be offered with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 268hp and a V6 naturally aspirated 3.6-liter that generates 316hp.

The twin-turbo engine will be released in autumn 2014 Cadillac CTS and eventually will be offered in the XTS later this year.
