How to Clean Audi Chrome Trim
1. Mix warm water and dishwashing liquid in a bucket. Clean the chrome trim with the soap mixture and a cotton wash cloth, making sure to remove any grease.
2. Clean trim a second time. Use only clean warm water and a cotton wash cloth.
3. Dry completely with a cotton wash cloth to ensure there are no water marks on the chrome.
4. Stick masking tape on the areas around the trim. This is not entirely necessary if you have a steady hand, but it will prevent the chrome polish from getting on your cars paint job.
5. Apply the chrome polish using a sponge. Follow the manufacturers instructions on the label of the polish.
6. Leave the polish for the specified time. Wipe off the polish vigorously with a chamois leather cloth, or another suitable lint-free cloth.
